It’s now time to register for places for Term 1 starting in September 2019. Priority booking is open to siblings of members first followed by to new members on Tuesday 16th July. We anticipate that places will book out quickly so don’t delay!
For a real time version you will need to view places on the payment system via the “BOOK HERE” button on our homepage or by clicking the button below. If viewing on a phone you may need to turn the phone sideways to view the full table. You will need to look at the payment section to see details.
We have compiled the following information below to help you in your booking places with Kilkenny Gymnastics Academy, please take time to read the information carefully as it has been put together to help you in your booking. Places are available to book here.
Are these the only places available? Will you be adding more?
These are the only places currently available. We understand that the times and ability levels do not suit everyone, we hope that we will have something that suits you in the future.
Can I be put on a waiting list?
All of our places are offered on a first come, first book basis so for this reason we do not hold a waiting list. Please feel free to send us an email with any alternate queries but if an age group/beginners group is not listed, we do not have places available at the moment. If you would like to discuss the experience level required that is no problem to discuss in detail but it is best to email us so that we can look at the experience clearly.
At what age can children start classes?
Girls at age 3 and boys at age 4. All children must be fully toilet trained, no nappies allowed and must be able to toilet and dress themselves fully without any help needed. Please note that parents do not stay during class time.We do have a Parent & Child class for those under this age – click here to read about it.
Why do some places require experience?
Simply because we hold a very high member retention rate. These are the only places we have available in these groups, it would be unfair to put a beginner in with a group who has been doing gymnastics with us for 1 year. We strive to have our groups as progressive as possible and only taking experienced gymnasts into some groups is the best route.
I’m confused, how do I know if it’s for boys/girls or if experience is required?
The system will have this outlined. this stating if for girl or boys and the amount of experience needed to join a particular class.
What counts as experience?
Gymnastics classes taught at a recognised gymnastics club or having previously attended camps/classes with us.
Payment Information
The cost is outlined on the payments section of our website – you will also see that an annual Compulsory Gymnastics Ireland Insurance and Membership fee is included in the price, this is valid from September 1st ’19 – August 31st ’20. KGA is affiliated to the professional governing body Gymnastics Ireland, our coaches are Garda Vetted and received professional qualifications through them. A split payment option is available on these places meaning, pay half now and half in a months time to make payment more manageable.
While it might seem daunting at first with the information listed, the payment system is straight forward. Here is an example of a listing to help explain.
