With Christmas time fast approaching, we often get many questions as to where the best places for Santa and his elves to find home gymnastics equipment, grips or leotards that aren’t always available in Santa’s workshop. So we have put together a Santa’s Little Helper list to help them out. The websites listed below are tried and trusted websites, recommended by our gymnasts and their families as well as the staff at Kilkenny Gymnastics Academy.
Kilkenny Gymnastics Academy Merchandise
KGA Girls Leotards
We have had KGA black and pink girls leotards available since September, they have been so popular that we quickly sold out of sizes 28 and 30 but don’t worry we have more arriving soon! €42.50 / €49
All leotards are custom made by Quatro, the official leotard partner of both Gymnastics Ireland and British Gymnastics, for Kilkenny Gymnastics Academy. Size charts can be found here. Currently we only provide sleeveless leotards as these are the most popular style. Leotards can be purchased in the gym only (not available online) or if looking to do so in secret email info[@]kilkennygymnastics.ie to arrange another time to purchase.

Leotards
We recommend the following for boys and girls leotards.
GymGym.ie (Irish owned & based, supplier of many brands)
Home Gymnastics Equipment
Often we are asked about gymnastics mats, bars and beams to use at home. There are many different types, it really depends on your own preference and budget. Please be very wary of asking us advice on which is best in class as lots of little ears are around. If you have a query, please email us, we may be able to advise.
McSport (Irish)
Ikea (pink and green gymnastics mats)
Other Gymnastics Apparel
For Bar grips, wrist bands, grips bags etc. Each website has it’s own sizing for grips. Please note that only higher level gymnasts require dowel grips (which are more expensive). Each website has it’s own sizing charts available for you to determine the size.
We hope that you, Santa and his elves find this list useful. If you have any other suggestions please do let us know.
