Members! It’s that time of year again, summer is over and everyone is back into their usual routine! We are delighted to once again see so many of our members returning, our opening 2018 – 2019 gymnastics season was fantastic and we endeavour that 2019-2020 will be even better! We must extend a very warm welcome to our new members and we look forward to getting to know you.
We have compiled the following information as reminders for our returning members and need to know info for new members.
Where are you located?
Springhill, on the Waterford Road. Please ensure, if travelling down the Waterford Road towards Kilkenny that you do not turn right into the training centre. Continue down the road and use the roundabout.
Pick Ups & Drops Offs
Must be swift – a very quick drop and go. Gymnasts are to be dropped off no more than 5 mins before class, we cannot be responsible for gymnast dropped early. We understand that family lives are very busy – if you need to drop off early this must be agreed in writing with Management info[@]kilkennygymnastics.ie please note that this cannot be on a regular basis, we are not in a position to do this. Late pick ups are also not permitted, particularly at the end of the evening. If you will be late please text: 087 3754147
All classes are drop and go with the exception of GymABLE and Parent & Child sessions. We have years of experience in coaching and know that the best response from children of all ages is received when parents do not stay to watch so for this reason we have a drop & go policy, please do not be offended if we ask you to head off, you’ll be surprised how even the shyest child opens up in class with gymnastics equipment around! Parents will have the chance to come and watch their children do their gymnastics in both December and June.
What to Bring to Class
As little as possible, the fewer items and people that are in the drop off area, the quicker drop offs and collections can take place! Shoes that can easily be slipped on and off such as flip flops are handy and a drink of water is always recommended. Please ensure children go to the toilet before class as this can be very disruptive to our classes.
Communication
Our primary source of communication is by email, texts are only sent in the event of a short notice class cancellation. Our website, Instagram and Facebook page are updated very regularly so ensure to keep an eye on these. If you wish to receive reminders of dates off ensure to check our pages and also sign up to the mailing list on our website homepage, you will then receive an email for every post that goes into our news section.
